What Spiritualism Has Taught Me

Spiritualism is a religion teaching the continuity of life as it endeavors to comply with the mental, physical, and spiritual laws of nature. Which are the laws of God. Spiritualism is also a science. Science investigates studies and analyzes, then collects the facts for classification. Which Spiritualism does with the manifestation that is brought from spirit side of life? Spiritualism is also a philosophy. It studies the laws of nature of the physical plane as well the spiritual plane.
Spiritualism has taught me so much, so many wonderful things, that I hardly know where to begin and I know there is no end to what Spiritualism will teach me. Here are some important things that come to my mind.

Spiritualism has taught me control. Often in younger years we practically jump out at people simply because we are afraid they wouldn't understand us or take us seriously.

I found that we need to be in control. To make people understand one's needs, to know how to speak to people. To separate and formulate their thoughts to put words in proper sentences and proper tones so people will want to listen. We want to slow down and structure what we are thinking, so when people hear you it is easier for them to understand.

Spiritualism has taught me balance. We cannot be too quick nor can we be to slow. We know each of us learns at our own rate of speed. Often we want to know everything all at once, everything in one day. We know that cannot be, we work to slow down and take things in their natural turn, according to their needs, according to what they can produce for us. For what they can put into our lives.

Spiritualism has taught me kindness, thoughtfulness, and compassion. It has taught me the need and the want of being with people, and knowing people, of listening to people and have them listen to me. All these things have become so important in my life. Spiritualism has showed me how little I did to make my life a better life, a happier one, a healthier one. It has taught me I must control my intake of food as well as my thoughts. You can begin even if it is late in life; you still have time to work to better your self.

Spiritualism has taught me that anger can ruin the wonderful chemistry within the body. Anger will turn into poisons that affect your being.

Spiritualism has given me the space in my life and no one may invade that space, nor may I invade anyone else's space.

Spirit and God have given us certain abilities to help us all. Our Spirit teachers return to help us grow. Just as I know my husband comes back to assist me from time to time. They help us grow spiritually and to become better individuals than we were before. We need to thank spirit for being in our lives and for our growth. We say thanks to others also for being friends, for being encouraging and inspiring.

I need to no longer flounder about. I know where I am going. I know what I have already had here on the earth plane. I know when I go to the Spirit World I will come together again with loved ones and friends and will have the same contact we

Had on the earth plane.

Spiritualism has taught me I have so much to look forward to. But I also know that I am not finished here, I have things to do and things to accomplish. Things that need to be given to other people and things that needs to be given to me. There is so much more to learn.

Spiritualism teaches us the Natural Laws and how to apply these laws. Try to work daily to apply our wonderful laws. Try to put them to use as much as you possibly can.

Spiritualism has taught me how to send healing. And also, how to give healing. To bring the understanding to people we all have the ability give and to send healing to others who are in need. I know that I have helped to heal myself to become healed in many ways. Spirit will work with you as you send healing everyday to all people who are in need. Part of my prayer is "Please help all those who are in need, whoever they are. Wherever they are. Whatever their need may be."

I know that Spiritualism has given me so much and that is why I know I want to give as much as I can give to bring Spiritualism to the height it should be.

Often I go to bed with this thought,” What can I do for Spiritualism to say thank you for what Spiritualism has done for me?" I know Spirit is close by and can hear my every prayer. Spiritualism teaches all these things. Each Spiritualist receives many truths if they are listening. Have you received all these wonderful things that Spiritualism has given me? I ask you now, "What has Spiritualism taught you?"
